Oliver Olive-Eyes Grech - Poetry Night

Oliver Olive-Eyes Grech's inseparable immersion in poetry began in earnest as part of the thriving 1980's poetry scene at, ironically, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This provided the stage for his earliest published poems and fiction. (Those poems have since reappeared in his first book of collected works.) He has edited and published a poetry periodical, taught the writing and delivery of verse, hosted an open mic' series, been censored, and defied the threat of lawsuit by publicly defending the integrity of a colleague's poem.
As a veteran featured performer of cafes, festivals, and cable broadcast, Oliver brings his wit and wisdom to both stage and street corner. His poems span a wide variety of topics, tones, methods, and modes. The only consistent things about his poetic style: it is always changing, always diverse.
